SHOTS & WORKS 2013

Just had my photo essay 'You Are You' selected by Melissa Harris of Aperture and Yolanda Cuomo for Look3 Festival of the Photograph. To be included in the company of these gifted photographers, is truly an honor.

We're excited to announce this year's SHOTS & WORKS Artists!

The SHOTS & WORKS evening projections in Charlottesville's outdoor nTelos Wireless Pavilion are an exciting part of our Friday and Saturday programming, showcasing some of today's most innovative photography projects. The slideshows explore each artist's process and vision, incorporating narrative, audio from the field, and interviews with the subjects.
This year's selections cover a range of genres—from photojournalism to natural history to fine art. Our 2013 guest curators, Melissa Harris and Yolanda Cuomo, have carefully put together a collage of themes to exhibit the broad range of subject matter being explored by photographers today. Presenting artists include:
Nina Berman, Matthew Brandt, Bonnie Briant, Maximilien Brice, Clare Carter, Maisie Crow, Catherine Chalmers, David Chancellor, Nick Cobbing, Pari Dukovic, Natan Dvir, Ashley Gilbertson, Stanley Greene, Tyler Hicks, Britta Jaschinski, Zhang Kechun, Lisa Kereszi, Hajime Kimura, Mark W. Moffett, Lindsay Morris, NASA Goddard Photo and Video, Daniel Naude, Katie Orlinsky, Paolo Pellegrin, Eugene Richards, Deidre Schoo and Michael Beach Nichols, Shaul Schwarz, Manjari Sharma, Anthony Sherin, Will Steacy, Andrea Stern, Mikhael Subotzky and Patrick Waterhouse, Peter van Agtmael, Clara Vannucci, Jean Michel Voge, Wendel White, Lisa Wiltse, and more to come!
