As photographers, the world is our backyard. Our BACKYARD contest  

was a chance for 391 photographers from Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, 

Germany, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Africa,  

Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States  

to submit 1,493 impressions of their corner of the world.

Jurors Jennifer Schlesinger Hanson, Jonathan Blaustein, Arthur Meyerson, 

and Reid Callanan reviewed this creative collection of photographs 

and chose 50 award-winning images.

Grand Prize: Steven Edson, Belmont, Massachusetts, Inner Tube

Second Prize: Christina Preiss, Valley Center, California, Group Effort

Third Prize: Lindsay Morris, Sag Harbor, New York, Soaring  

Director Award: David Burnham, Fairport, New York, Backyard Selfie
